SoundTrap sound-absorbing false ceiling
The installation of a sound-absorbing ceiling has become increasingly essential to control annoying noises and reduce reverberation in public places and restaurants, meeting points for those who want to get out of the daily routine and are looking for a moment of relax.
Moreover, the application of a sound-absorbing false ceiling has also achieved a fundamental role in open-space work areas, in collective work spaces, the so-called coworking spaces, in recreational environments, such as gyms and auditoriums, in multipurpose centers, as well. as in the different areas of the school structures. Naturally, these are places, both small and large, where numerous people meet and coexist over the course of an entire day and where, consequently, numerous sounds of various nature and intensity converge, whose control becomes necessary through the use of large sound-absorbing surfaces on the ceiling.
Acoustic Lab’s SoundTrap acoustic ceiling tiles were created to fulfill this task. In fact, their composition in blocks of heat-bound, recycled and recyclable polyester fiber makes them particularly suitable for creating both small and large acoustic projects, economical and easy to install, while ensuring very high acoustic performance. Modular false ceiling tiles fit most T-bearing structures (T24). Edges and corners are made with mechanical cutting.
SoundTrap ceilings offer the best sound absorption performance for this category of products, they are classified in class “A” of sound absorption according to the reference standards: ISO 354: 2003 and ISO 11654: 1998.
Furthermore, they do not contain artificial glass fibers or other pulverizable particles, not even formaldehyde and are not made with polyurethane or melamine foams.
The heat-bonded polyester fiber is a fireproof material (B, s1-d0), highly resistant in environments with a lot of humidity such as saunas and swimming pools.
